Search Configuration

The search functionality allows users to query a WFS or OGC 3D Tiles with WFS as metadata datasource via the search widget in the HxGN Smart Sites Client application.

The search button only appears in the Client application when at least one Publication with a searchable datasource is loaded.

To activate the search feature, check the Enable search option.

Result Display Property​

This setting defines the property of the datasource used for displaying the search results.

Example: If you select the name field, the country name shows in the results when a user searches for countries.

Searchable Properties​

Searchable properties define which properties are queried for the search value. A search returns results that match any of the selected properties.

Example: If both name and capital are selected as searchable properties, users can search for a country by either its name or its capital city.

Only text-based properties are listed in the dropdown for both display and searchable properties.
